Terms of Use

Effective April 24, 2024

By using our service or creating an account through the Prayer Pals, LLC (Prayer Pals), Prayer Pals Community mobile app ("PPC App"), Words of Life mobile app ("WOL App") or http://prayerpalsapp.com website ("Site"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. You also acknowledge and accept the service’s Privacy Policy and consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Please read this agreement carefully. It sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions for use of this service. If you do not agree to these terms, you are not authorized to use this service.

Purpose

The purpose of the PPC App is to enable a User to keep track of and share prayers with other users and groups. Prayers are entered by the user, and the user is responsible for the content.

The purpose of the WOL App is to provide a user with a scripture and prayer for encouragement. The devotionals are chosen at random and do not have any connection to the user.

User account

Some features of the Site are available without a user account. A user account is required to use the PPC App and all the features available on the Site.

A user account is not required for the the WOL app.

Community Interaction

The Prayer Pals App can be used individually, or with others in the context of an online community (other users). We take this community very seriously, and reserve the right to protect authentic users from illegitimate users or purposes contrary to the intentions of the app. We reserve the right in our sole discretion to block users or cancel their accounts if they post spam, offensive language, or abuse other users. The Prayer Pals app and service are intended to only be used for the purposes of sharing prayer requests and praying for other individuals and groups. Using the app for any other purposes may result in the discontinuation of your Prayer Pals account, with or without notice.

Group Guidelines

Users may request to join a group as a service in the app. Once accepted, members can share prayers to the group and see prayers shared by other members to the group. As with all prayers generated in the app, the user is responsible for the content and should consider anything shared with a group, including the Prayer Pals group as public information.

Most of Prayer Pals’ features are free for all users. However, to create a group in the app will require a one-time fee. After group creation, the person who created the group will be the administrator of the group and is responsible for the content provided by and to the group. Members of the group must be accepted or invited by the administrator. Members of a group can share prayers to that group without permission from the administrator. The administrator has the right and ability to remove members and content at their sole discretion. The administrator who created the group can grant other members administration rights. Resigning administration rights as the only administrator will disband the group and the fee for group creation will not be refunded.

Acceptance of Terms

By using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understand our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use and accept the terms as described in this policy. If you do not agree to the Terms of Use, please do not use this Service. Continued use of the PPC App following the posting of changes to these terms will be deemed as acceptance to the changes.

Prayer Pals reserves the right to make changes to these Terms at any given time. Please visit this page frequently to ensure the most current policy.
