Prayer Pals, LLC (Prayer Pals) values its users’ privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to the manner in which Prayer Pals collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users of the http://prayerpalsapp.com website (“Site”) and/or the Prayer Pals Community mobile app (“PPC App”), and Words of Life mobile app ("WOL App"). This policy applies to the Site, PPC App, and all products and services offered by Prayer Pals. Our policy has been created to ensure those affiliated with Prayer Pals of our commitment and realization of our obligation to meet existing privacy standards. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully so that you understand your rights in relation to your personal data, and how we will collect, use, and process your personal information.



This Privacy Policy does not apply to data collection activities that occur outside of your use of our Service (unless otherwise stated below), and does not govern the data practices of third-parties that may interact with our Service. Prayer Pals does not govern the collection and use of information by companies that Prayer Pals does not control. If you visit a website that we mention or link to, be sure to review its privacy policy before providing information to that site.



Information We Collect



We may collect personal identification information from users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, registration on our site or app, visiting the website, or using the PPC app. At a minimum, email addresses are used as unique usernames and required for registration to use the PPC app. It is always up to you to disclose personally identifiable information to us, although if you elect not to do so, we reserve the right to not register you as a user or provide you with products or services.



WOL app does not collect any personal identifiable information.



The website PPC app, and WOL app collect information automatically when visiting the site or using the app which include cookies, third party tracking technologies and server logs.



Prayer Pals may collect non-personal anonymous demographic information, such as the type of browser you are using, IP address, or type of operating system, which will assist us in providing service.



Use of Information Collected



Prayer Pals does not now, nor will it in the future, sell, rent, or lease any of its customer lists and/or names to any third parties.



Prayer Pals maintains all information in the PPC app provided by the user in a cloud based server.



User information is used to distinguish unique users and to send notifications as set in the settings section of the app. In addition to notifications, the email address may occasionally be used by Prayer Pals to send emails regarding updates, company news, or to respond to inquiries from the user through the app, website, or email.



Prayer requests are the heart of the app. Please understand what you are sharing will be public if you choose to active the share button when creating or editing a prayer. If you do not want your prayer made public, do not click the share button on the prayer request. When the user who generated the prayer item deletes the item, it is removed from everyone’s list and is no longer shared. If you shared something by mistake, delete it and it will be removed from the server.



User information for all the members of a group is visible to the group admin. This is usedto maintain members of the group and send notifications of new prayer requests if notifications are turned on for that group.



Sharing prayer requests and joining groups are optional and not required to use the app.



All information on the cloud server is used for the purposes of the function of the app. Information is not ported from the server to any other source and used for any other purpose.



Prayer Pals uses various third-party social media such as Facebook, Twitter, and other interactive programs. These may collect your IP address and require cookies to work properly. These services are governed by the privacy policies of the providers and are not with in Prayer Pal’s control.



Prayer Pals reserves the right to contact you if needed for non-marketing purposes such as bug alerts, security breaches, account issues, and/or changes in Prayer Pals products or services.



Unsubscribe



All users and visitors to our website have the option to discontinue receiving communications from us through email. To discontinue or unsubscribe from our mailing list, please send an email that you wish to unsubscribe to prayerpalsapp@gmail.com . If you wish to unsubscribe, Prayer Pals will continue to adhere to this policy with respect to any personal information previously collected.



Children under 13



Prayer Pals website and PPC app is not directed to and does not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If it is determined that such information has been inadvertently collected on anyone under the age of 13, we shall immediately take the necessary steps to ensure that such information is deleted from our system’s database, or in the alternative, that a verifiable parental consent is obtained for the use and storage of such information. Anyone under the age of 13 must seek and obtain parent or guardian permission to use the website or PPC app.



Notice to European Users



Prayer Pals’ operations are located in the United States. If you provide information to us, the information will be transferred out of the European Union (EU) and sent to the United States. (The adequacy decision on the EU-US Privacy became operational on August 1, 2016. This framework protects the fundamental rights of anyone in the EU whose personal data is transferred to the United States for commercial purposes. It allows the free transfer of data to companies that are certified in the US under the Privacy Shield.) By providing personal information to us, you are consenting to its storage and use as described in this Policy.



Security



We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, password, and other information and data stored on our Site or in the PPC App. All information is transferred over secure, encrypted SSl/HTTPS transport protocols.



Data Retention



We only retain personal information as long as there is a business need for it. If at any time you revoke your consent for us to store your data, notify us at support@prayerpalsapp.com and we will permanently delete it.



Acceptance of Terms



Please review the Terms of Use, which governs your use of the Service. By using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understand our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service and accept our collection, use and disclosure of your information and data, and other activities, as described in this policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use this Service.
